1 week on adhd meds and I can definitely say they're working. I've done more programming work/learning in the past week then I have possibly in the past year because I'm not chasing dopamine, which I lose when I get stuck on something... It's such a nice feeling to just be able to focus.

Day 2 on new meds: I don't feel the need to fidget with something, and my brain is not chaos soup. Me likey

First 2 hours of being on my new adhd meds and I can already tell they're somewhat working: I don't get a sense of dread when I think about doing something I don't want to do... this is weird... is this how people with normal brain chemistry feel on a daily basis?

A little update: I've been put on 10mg Ritalin. Trialing this for a couple months then we'll go from there!

I need game recommendations akin to Firewatch or The Long Dark. Atmospheric, moody, story heavy single player games that don't necessarily revolve around combat (they can). Was thinking about picking up Pacific Drive, not sure on that one yet so if you liked it plz let minnow!

So I had a psych app this morning to be evaluated for ADHD. I didn't get the diagnosis but I was put on Strattera so maybe I'll be able to focus on things I want to do now?
