Had a cup of coffee years back in the NBA as a scout for ten whole months. Now I mainly watch Ms Rachel and change diapers.
A nice sequence from my current #1 2026 NBA draft prospect, Mikel Brown Jr, with a well timed off ball read and a controlled and purposeful deflection leading to a transition basket.

Awesome stuff vs Alex Karaban late in the second. Impressive basket highlighting an impressive second half for Dybantsa

Catching up on AJ Dybantsa vs UCONN, and while he had a pretty rough go early on, he showed why some have him tabbed as the top guy in the draft class. Displaying some pretty nice NBA-level shot creation here #NBASky

Incredible awareness and even more impressive deceleration from Mikel Brown allowing for Sananda Fru time to make the cut before finding him at the rim

Watching the Mikel Brown Jr 29 point outing last night for Louisville against Kentucky. I'm excited for this one. #NBADraft

A lot of people that were quick to throw Flagg under the bus will look mighty silly soon enough. I'm old enough to remember when people threw in the towel on Wemby during *Summer League*

Social media is a funny place

Dwight Powell?

One thing that stands out early for me is Ament's inability to utilize physicality over opposition. Here we see him get sealed while offering no resistance (score could be a factor, however) but there were a few instances this game where it seemed he got somewhat bullied by Northern Kentucky
November 9, 2025 at 3:57 PM
Nate Ament finished with a full box score: 23 p, 8 r, 5 a, 2 stl and here we get a glimpse at his craft and ability to create off of the dribble while searching for contact
November 9, 2025 at 3:53 PM
Heady defensive manipulation from Nate Ament where he attacks causing #5 to slide over to take the baseline away, in turn forcing #6 to tag which takes away the weakside closeout should a skip occur. And, as luck would have it, a skip pass occurs.

Well timed slip screen from Koa Peat for the emphatic slam

Koa Peat --> Brayden Burries

Strong take from Koa Peat for 2 of his 18 points in last nights victory over Utah Tech

Catching up on some Dash Daniels film and well alright

Patrick Ngongba was throwing some serious off-ball screens in the Duke/Texas season opener
November 5, 2025 at 11:53 PM
Valencia's Sergio De Lerrea gets some impressive rotation on these ball screen reads. Allows him to shrink the defenders passing lane window, pretty cool stuff.

Hey there, Caleb Wilson!

Another stand out play from Darryn Peterson is this hit ahead in the early minutes of the game. Precision and touch very much on display for this length-of-the-floor pass.
November 4, 2025 at 2:33 PM
Peterson finished with 21 pts on 7/11 shooting in just 22 minutes played. He also logged two steals, with this one leading to a basket in transition and feeling pretty effortless all around
November 4, 2025 at 2:31 PM
A lot of strong performances across the college landscape for top draft prospects with Darryn Peterson being one of them for Kansas. Really fun play for Peterson here as the point of attack defender to avoid the foul.

Another display of Karim Lopez utilizing physical tools by using his strength to dislodge his defender leading to a tough off-hand finish over Jesse Edwards
November 4, 2025 at 3:29 AM
Playing catch up on some Karim Lopez film from earlier this NBL season. Physical tools are pretty evident, as he displays here on a super tough take by absorbing contact while being able to stay in bounds in minimal space and hit a crafty reverse layup.

Off ball defense + recovery was fun in this one. Length and navigation while recovering allowed Dash Daniels to be a little more free flowing away from the ball and act as a disrupter. The dig + swipe pulls him slightly out of position, but Daniels still recovers for a high level contest.
