If they don't trust a QB to throw on first and 10 they should never be working in the NFL again. That's an indictment on them not the qb

When Jalen made those comments I don't think he anticipated running a historic amount of hitch routes and caring more about milking clock and avoiding turnovers than actually scoring. Which is why he said "We have to stop playing not to lose" The HC who doesn't understand football more at fault IMO

Any idea what the percentage was for the game Tanner started? Wondering if the narrative that they call the games differently with him is true or not

I don't understand why you were so dismissive/surprised towards people who were upset after Buffalo win. THIS is why.

I think he has his limitations for sure but the coaching also makes him (and everyone else) look worse than they are. When you have two separate halves without a single completion twice in one year that's 100% coaching. There's no QB bad enough to warrant that. It's pure cowardice/stupidity.
January 5, 2026 at 1:12 AM
Right. So When are people going to realize the actual issue is the HC who is in charge of the offense? You're never getting anything more than a mediocre passing offense when the HC's philosophy is "don't turn the ball over". That's coaching malpractice.

And I have a hard time believing the QB who is albeit closer to the 13th best QB than top 5 is going to the coach and voicing his refusal to run a ton of NFL concepts knowing his work ethic and how he thinks.
November 29, 2025 at 8:06 AM
I agree. It's tiring. And I'm sick of having the same discussions and reading the tea leaves week after week over who is at fault for what. I don't know how Sirianni went from this super aggressive and modern thinking coach to thinking the most important thing on offense is to not turn it over.
November 29, 2025 at 8:05 AM
Does the QB need training wheels or does the dumbass HC just think he does? I have a hard time believing the offense would look like this with any semi competent offensive head coach, even with some of Hurt's limitations. Like, Kyle Shanahhan would never have an offense look like this
November 29, 2025 at 5:39 AM
The QB who has one of the best work ethics in the league is afraid to use... uhhh motion? Lol! They can't even make it sound believable.

Lurie is the exact type of owner who sees all the issues despite the close Ws
November 24, 2025 at 4:01 AM
To what degree? I don't think it's too much to ask to be a consistently well coached team every year.
November 24, 2025 at 3:00 AM
so just stick with the guy who clearly sucks?
November 24, 2025 at 2:16 AM
Their passing game was literally the only positive of the offense today. If you think it was limited today by Hurts, I'm not really sure what you're looking for at this point.
November 24, 2025 at 2:06 AM
Joe Brady, Declan Doyle, Kubiak, literally anyone who isn't completely dependent on their coordinators and coaches to win.
November 24, 2025 at 2:05 AM
Why is it a hypothetical to think the next HC won't be smarter than a guy who needs a sideline babysitter and isn't in charge of any aspect of the team?
November 24, 2025 at 2:01 AM
I think you're taking that quote too literally. He's spoken out multiple times about his displeasure with the offense. Said they play not to lose after Week 3, "coach let me out of my straightjacket" after NFCC Game. There's no way he's telling Nick Sirianni to run like 80% curl routes.
November 18, 2025 at 2:45 AM
I do think the idea that Jalen Hurts is walking into Sirianni's office and demanding it to consist of like 90% curl routes is absolutely insane
November 18, 2025 at 12:33 AM
When Sirianni said today the goal of the offense is to win the turnover battle, I'm wondering how he ever got the job.
November 14, 2025 at 12:25 AM
They have Tanner McKee if need be. Also any competent coach like McVay, Shanahan, OConnel, etc would have a perfectly fine offense with Hurts at QB.
October 19, 2025 at 6:49 PM
This would actually be semi understandable. I expected the defense to take a step back. The offense having no identity being designed by a 3rd grader is what frustrates me to no end.
October 13, 2025 at 9:51 PM
This is the problem. Unless they find their version of Josh McDaniels they are just going to keep having these problems if they miss on OC. Even the Lions haven't missed a beat after losing Ben Johnson.
