I’m just imaging what it must be like to be a model and hear that your stock photo image was picked up for an ad and you’re gonna get paid… then seeing this ad

Still waiting on the rest, but the mugs just came out of the kiln today, and I’m pleasantly surprised at how nice the glaze came out.

(My studio does reduction firing, so it’s always a surprise to see how they look)

Made a little pottery jug for my brother, and I’m deeply relieved to see that I got the neck size right and he can indeed use a speed pourer like a classy motherfucker

(If you’re a pottery nerd, it’s white and dark blue amaco velvet underglazes with a clear glaze on top)

Current load of nonsense to be fired. The two-toned stack on the left are nesting cups. Each were thrown separately then trimmed to interlock. I’ve had nightmares about it warping in the final firing, so fingers crossed.
