I'd like to help people learn more about basic finance that I feel like we should have been taught in school.

Absolute best way to be sure they won’t eat something again? Buy a Costco sized thing of whatever they said they loved last week T_T

It’s crazy how many of them there are! Starting to understand why people have “NO DM’s” in their profiles as well, it’s 99.9% scamming/crypto crap 🤪

Hahaha, best of both worlds. Still haven’t been to Oregon but it’s on my list of places to check out. Would like to get out of the concrete jungle and see some trees 😂

Seriously, some of the worst stuff on TV and 'finance' magazines. So much FUD and straight up awful stuff just for the sake of views. Really gross

I can’t mute it in my feed either because there’s actual sane people with posts like yours making fun of it and I’m not gonna give that up 😂

It’s tough.. do you prioritize for the algorithm (<60s video) and get more reach with superficial content? Or provide detailed information that has a harder time getting out? I’ve tried to find a middle ground (short vid explainer/longer newsletter) but that still requires folks wanting to read 🙃

Truly the only answer is: No one knows what is going to happen and anyone who tells you otherwise is at best ignorant.

With how close you are to retirement, ideally your portfolio is leaning pretty heavily toward things that are less volatile than individual stocks. So maybe check up on that first?
