I've always understood that "double tap" was 2 quick shots by an assassin/killer to make sure the target is dead. Hegseth is misusing that term - because he doesn't know better? Is trying to sound tough? Or doesn't want to admit to wrongdoing by using the correct term "restrike"?

If they really want to reduce abortion demand, they should make safe and effective birth control free and readily available. It's easier and cheaper and they won't have a twinge to their consciences when they deny food and housing to babies.
