Took the images from our 2026 wall calendar (see previous post) and made a motion video.

Bravo to the rockstar on the Farming Simulator team who every year is in that meeting like, “This year I was thinking of a tractor shot, sprawling farm and cloudy sky,” and the entire team is just in tears giving him/her/them a standing ovation. You are an inspiration of minimal effort to us all.

Friends traveling in San Diego this week posted about visiting a place called Villains Brewery and that just seemed like a fun idea for a video. So here it is…

Eastmont Halloween 2025: AI Video Edition. Took Photoshops I had made for coworkers (and myself) and animated them using AI.

It’s 6am and me and Photoshop have a long day ahead of us trying to be best friends. Happy Saturday, everyone!

I work at the Eastmont mall in Oakland. A few years ago our building had a rat infestation big enough to hit local news. So this year I decided to dress up as an Eastmont rat, complete with an employee badge and all. Happy Halloween, everyone!

Ten years ago (almost to the day) I lost an aerial drone in the Arizona desert. The sting of the loss was amplified by the lost footage. I decided to use AI to imagine what that footage might look like. And, per the AI song included, there was a musical witness there the day I lost the drone. Enjoy.

I guess it’s National Dog Day. Not sure these two need any additional celebration. Spoiled rotten that lot.

Took some famous photos and paintings and ran them through ye ole AI machine to turn them in to videos.

I also like doing these to point out that AI isn't perfect. It took some creative liberties with many likenesses (among other errors).

Anyhow... happy Tuesday, everyone!

I mean… if I’m FORCED to say something nice about these people… I guess it’s that they give absolutely zero fucks about what people think of them and their small pee-pees. And I guess that’s somewhat commendable.

Converting still photos to video using AI.

I’ve lived more years in California than Arizona, and I like California far better for MANY reasons. Somehow Arizona still feels like home. I took some pics from online from around the state and animated them with AI and set it to an AI created song.

For some reason the other day I was thinking about the stereotype of white people thinking they can handle spice at ethnic restaurants then failing horribly, and then that somehow jumped to wizards and potions.

Anyhow... this is how I spent my day off! It's not perfect by any means.

For some reason, the song Cotton-Eye Joe entered my headspace this morning. So, I asked ChatGPT to examine the lyrics and tell me more about this figure. Some of the highlights of that analysis include… (1 of 2)

New wallpaper. It’s based off a video game I’m obsessed with (Brotato) but not actually from the game. Show me your wallpaper in the comments? Am I farming engagement? Sure. Am I also bored on an in-office day? 100%.
