Absolutely needed to get faster at LB

There’s a bit too much celebration of our 3rd or 4th place bid, IMO. They need to go out and make moves and actually outbid someone for pitching now. If they don’t this “good effort” for Soto means absolutely NOTHING.

MLB needs to start doing more “off site” home games, 1 per year per team. High school and college parks, minor league stadiums, old historic ballparks, random pop up areas like they did for field of dreams. Have a game in South Dakota. It would help build interest in the game across the country.

Lets say this deal is 14 years:

$600 million = $42.8m AAV
$650 million = $46.4m AAV
$700 million = $50.0m AAV
$750 million = $53.6m AAV

These numbers seem worlds apart on the surface but are closer than one may think. I’d hate to see them lose out on Juan Soto for the price of a Chris Martin.
