I am hoping that the progressive backlash will happen during the midterms. In the meantime, civil disobedience and resistance is key. I will definitely be at protests at the capitol these next few years.

I think the rub here, for me, is that saying all of “something” is this-or-that immediately puts that “something” into a box that it doesn’t fit in.

Yeah, I agree that the causal chain for every action includes one’s politics, but defining “all” of something as political puts in a tiny frame. There’s more to art than politics, that’s as clear as I can be.

Sure, like I said, it was the very first post I saw, and it did resonate with me, except for the “all” part. It does make me sad that the author is offended. I’ll shut up now. Thanks.

Also, this author tends to make a lot of “you” comments, indicating projection of his emotions, and not trying to empathize.
