Good vibes only. Not here to debate, just here for fun.
I've done so much walking in the past 4 days, between airports & conference, that there is no part of my feet free of blisters. I even have them between my toes. I think my socks are fused to my feet. Can't wait to get home & peel them off. And not move for about 36 hours

This is the first time I ever ordered room service and they wheeled in a fancy table like in the movies. My fancy table has chicken fingers & fries with a Diet Coke, but I ate it with a knife and fork. This must be what it felt like to be a Rockefeller.

I don't ever want to spend this much time on the United app again. One delayed flight, and now I have to grab the connector in Narnia to get to my conference on time.

I've spent my entire morning in mandatory meetings about topics that don't impact my department and which I know nothing about. I'm beyond confused. What a brilliant use of my time 😒

Just finished "God's junk drawer" by @peterclines.bsky.social. No spoilers from me. I will just say that this is a book I will read again. That's the highest praise I ever give a book, to enjoy it so much I will read again, even though I know the ending. #booksky 📚💙

You know on TV where cops come to someone's house & the person invites them in & offers them coffee? Does anyone actually do that? If the cops show up at my house & ask for coffee I'll give directions to Dunkin & tell them to get off my property until they have a warrant

Interesting analysis of 2025 election data from @gelliottmorris.com at Strength In Numbers: www.gelliottmorris.com/p/seven-data.... If you are a Democrat running for office in 2026, you need to read this.
Seven data-driven lessons from the 2025 elections
Democrats outran their polls and swept statewide races from Georgia to New Jersey, on an agenda of affordability and a broad anti-Trump backlash

When I have to clean up something gross I say out loud "I wasn't there, didn't see it, don't know what you're talking about". It tricks my brain & stops the gag reflex. I'm not saying that is what #MikeJohnson is doing, but every time I hear his denials I think "Oh, he's trying not to gag right now"

Discovered Two Chicks canned cocktails at the supermarket. The Sparkling New Fashioned is quite tasty. Like an old fashioned with a ginger kick.

Driving through Columbis Ohio this afternoon was like being stuck at a party you want to leave but can't because someone else's car has yours blocked in.

It happened again. Not thrilled that I keep being too late to take advantage of this peace. I feel like Charlie Brown with the football.

I don't need this many books.

Got this fortune with my lunch today. It's Thursday. I guess I missed my chance at peace by one day. Also when did fortune cookies get day-of-week specific?

Did I just slip into an alternate universe? Because there's a different guy in the Trivago commercial. It was an older guy in the first commercial break. Now it's a totally different guy. Same commercial otherwise.

Watching my all-time favorite episode of any show ever made: The Nightman Cometh (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia).

It's a beautiful day in Ohio. Good day to buy some apples. Mr. Blue Sky was playing while I was checking out, and I may have been quietly singing along. What a great day!

Absolutely no one I know was #raptured this week.i guess I need a better class of friends. Or maybe I'm the one pulling down the group.

Happy 11th birthday to my dog Buddy. When I brought him home he weighed 2 lbs and was covered in fleas. Today he is thriving, keeping the yard squirrel-free, and giving cuddles when needed. Happy Birthday, Buddy!

My 6 year old granddaughter asked me last night where we go if there is a lock down when she is at my house. Then she told me about the lock down drill her first grade class had that day, including how you have to keep your head below the barrier so the gunman can't shoot you in the head.

How much is people's belief that #crime is up in big cities a result of all the "Law & Order" type of shows on TV. Watching those shows you would think there's a serial killer on every corner, which is not reality.

One thing we've learned from the Cracker Barrel logo fiasco is that we can add it to the list of places MAGAs hang out & avoid it. Actually...I think we already knew that.

Just finished My Ex, the Antichrist by Craig DiLouie. Horror with a lot of humor and heart. The format, the band and others being interviewed after the fact, worked better than I expected it to. I would read this again because I became emotionally invested in Lily & her band. #booksky 📚💙
