After giving the voters of Somerville the positive, issue-focused race that we agreed to do a year ago, it was great catching up with my friend and colleague @willieburnleyjr.bsky.social We unpacked the wild campaign journey we were just on and looked ahead at important policy work to be done.

Today marked move-in day at 20 Stephenson Aman in Clarendon Hill. The highlight was hearing from the leaders of Clarendon Residents United about their experience tirelessly advocating for Clarendon residents throughout the process.

Veterans Day honors those who've served our country. I started out the day at the Mystic Learning Center for a Veterans Day event, then moved on to the Dilboy VFW for a speaking program and wreath-laying. Finally, I attended the Somerville Museum's event at Milk Row Cemetery. Thank you, veterans!

Attended a screening of Somerville filmmaker Brian Truglio's documentary film, Running Home, at the Somerville Theatre. The subject of film, Mike Wardian, was on hand with Brian for a Q&A afterward about the film and the transcontinental run featured in it.

Thanks everyone for the happy birthday wishes!

Celebrated turning 49 in Portland (the West Coast one), where they have amazing food and drinks but don't take street sweeping nearly as seriously as we do in Somerville #scorpiomayor

Took the Orange Line from Assembly to State this morning and it went exactly how it should. No delays. No slow zones. Just public transit moving people around efficiently. Grateful to @mbta.com for doing the work to change things. Let's keep this going.

Election Day stops #7, #8, #9 and #10!

Dropping by local businesses is a special part of Election Day for me. We’ve stopped by a tiny Turns Paperie, Income Tax Plus, Index Vinyl, and Carolicious.
