Ear still not working properly but tentatively started writing some new music over the weekend and really go into it (despite being half deaf). Work in progress but I'm loving this so far

Very frustratingly I've been unable to finish any musical projects since July due to problems with my left ear (I can't mix anything at the moment as my hearing isn't right) so my collection of half finished pieces is just getting more unwieldy every week 😂

I've been reading LOTR to my daughter (for the second time - on request!) and incorporating the Clamavi De Profundis music as I read. It's a whole level up of bedtime stories. A must for any Tolkien fans

I've been reading LOTR to my daughter (for the second time - on request!) and incorporating the Clamavi De Profundis music as I read. It's a whole level up of bedtime stories. A must for any Tolkien fans

I haven't had enough time recently for working on my own music, but I've enjoyed throwing together some Fantasy RPG style tracks when not working on more important things. This one is starting to come together, needs polishing though.

Combining the many parts I've come up with for a solo stage show into one hour long track is proving to be a bit of a headache. I need #Cubase pro - unlimited tracks is what I need! Curse expensive production software 😆

Experimenting with X-Stream in HALion Sonic this morning. It's one of the free instruments that come with Cubase and I've not really explored it before now but I'm quickly getting excited by the possibilities, especially for BIG sounding cinematic drones.
