So what I'm hearing is that all these actions are considered political moves, but due to my ignorance and my lack of following international politics I don't understand how they are actually in the best interest of our nation?

This seems like a problem to me, since our presidents change so quickly. Why would a country ever enter into any talks with us again? You don't build a bridge to a sandbar.

How is it that the president, on his authority alone, can pull out of international agreements? Legally, our country treats them like a handshake with an individual president?

We went from being that friend who will always help you move and you can count on to feed you cat, to being that cousin who looks cool in sunglasses but who would absolutely let your fish die.

Not only that, but some people who love to talk about God get super upset when a minister asks them to act like Christ would.
