I don't watch t.v. news but get informed through newspapers (e.g. NYT, local pape. Allows me to control what is pushed to me. Also Reuters does 5 minute news summary audiocasts updated through the day. Does a good job just bringing the most relevant forward in a just the facts way.

Agree. If you embrace our democracy you have to accept the outcomes. You can protest the office and it's policies, but denying it means essentially denying democracy itself. And agree... worst ever and weirdest... to date - let's not give someone else a chance to say "Hold my beer..."
