@imranahmed.bsky.social says the next Canadian government must root its tech policy agenda in real people’s lives. Arguments based on the protection of our democracy and sovereignty from foreign aggression are not enough.

Meta’s decision to block Canadians from accessing news on Facebook and Instagram is hurting democracy. And the most worrying aspect is Cdns haven't noticed.
