My local newspaper stated that he was worried that conseravtives would be spanked for their views & "then it would be too late." My thought is that the conservative view will not be silenced by this regime. But it is heartwarming to pretend he may actually be concerned about my freedom of speech...

Actually, some of Nixon's supporters probably knew he used whisper campaigns to spread lies, but didn't mind so much when voting for him for the presidency. At least Nixon knew when it was time to resign, though. I'll give him that.
