It's one of the things I don't get - While there is obviously the emotional connection to him, how much value do one year of Kane actually provide, maybe you get CL? If you think you can re-sign him it's different, but you're gonna need to replace him at some point and I'd rather have money to do so

yea, it's more the algorithm feeding into the feed I'm worried about and I do get the moderation side. With Meta I do worry they'll go too hard to make it as palatable for ads/businesses as possible though. It's what I'll be interested in watching as it develops.

I think Threads might well continue, but people talking about it being a twitter replacement are off still imo - They could easily get there, but I feel like the algorithm and moderation (the limiting of war reporting I hope was a teething issue) could hurt it from being the network/news system
