Yes it’s anecdotal but a former president of SfN is a pretty reliable source and I would think corroboration can be found. However, this isn’t an attempt at a moral pile on of a complicated but brilliant figure; your last book was excellent and I look forward to the thorough scholarship put forth.

This tweet from some time ago in a similar vein revealed a lot to me….makes one contemplate how compounded historical consequences of his views played a role in the following decades and the eventual reckoning at the Salk in 2017.
