This just arrived today in the post. It’s like everyone woke up and went ‘I must do a jigsaw of that Hokusai big wave.’

Hard to explain to people how hard we fought to stop that road, how many hearts were broken and how much was lost. The movement born at Twyford is responsible for so many victories, places that only exist because of that struggle. Not a day goes past when I don’t think about that place.

Taking a quiet moment to remember the painter Frank Auerbach, who died this week at 93. Frank survived the Nazi Holocaust and went on to become one of the most respected painters of his generation. His discipline and work ethic. Just wow.
