And it’s not only middle and lower-income countries. In Europe, lenacapavir is being sold for Tx at absurdly high prices, completely detached from both national GNI (capacity to pay) and actual R&D costs.

Over a quarter of all new HIV acquisitions happen in the 26 countries and territories that Gilead has chosen to leave out of its license. That means a large number of people will be unable to access affordable prices for this lifesaving prevention.
