So today is the culmination of the last few years of work at @ArizonaStateUniversity for my Film & Media Studies BA. Of course, I had to have something #StephenKing to float with me through the ceremony.

Ahead of reviewing the new #FinalDestination it was time to start a franchise revisit with the OG. This was the first DVD I ever bought, along with Spinal Tap, and while the kills may pale in comparison to some of the later crazier fare I love how serious Sawa takes it all. Classic as they come.

Perhaps this has been a thing for awhile, however, this is my first time experiencing a restriction on @netflix.com with my particular plan. So much for showing off the hilarity that is #HeartEyes.

Another stellar celebration of cinema concluded this evening for @phoenixfilmfestival & @horrorscififest in #Arizona from the Scottsdale 101 @harkinstheatres. I had the pleasure to amass the largest selection of screenings in my 10 years of coverage with 43 and have a myriad of reviews upcoming.

Sure, they aren’t exactly HIGH PROFILE releases, but when you’re at the cinema on an opening Friday night for two new genre releases and the ONLY PERSON there (both times) it’s a troubling sign.
