It seems to me that P(infection | vax) for the general statement ‘vax slows transmission) would be enough, assuming infection means symptomatic and asymptomatic?

Hmm, I thought that for progesterone alternatives it's (mostly!) amennorhea/spotting only? This was a talking point from an (admittedly male) gynecologist during a lecture to counter some tendency towards naturalistic fallacies surrounding contraceptives
