Came here to say something similar - not all the people in red states are red. I'm in Ohio and there are many of us here that are not at all red, and are angry about what this administration is doing.

Indeed, a good first step to a solid stand by Dems would be for @schumer.senate.gov to step down.... absolutely out of touch, and somehow still hasn't figured out that you shouldn't be negotiating with or capitulating to Nazi fascists that are actively trying to burn everything down.

For books at least, my go-to is bookshop.org; they have ebooks now as well so it's an even more convenient Amazon option now! And it's never too late to support your local library as well.

So stop trying to look like you're doing something & actually do something. Refuse to participate in these hearings until the other criminal activity stops. Use all the things that the GOP has used against you in the past. This moral high ground, normal procedure bullshit is only hurting all of us.

Who's "we"? Stop posting here like you and the other Dems are (a) doing something and (b) actually give a shit about the rest of us. You know that none of this is normal; you know how dangerous these people are; and you know that you're outnumbered and the GOP will vote for any of his nominees.

Sadly I think we're all on our own. Republicans are backing all this, and Dems are all still sitting around with their thumbs up their asses waiting for 'norms' & politeness of democracy, which is dying in their hands, to magically come back without them actually having to stand up for anything.
