the process on this quilt is so slow and a real pain but I’m about a third of the way done assembling the top and I love the effect of all the flowers clustered together

I’ve spent my day figuring out how to make this quilt block without needing any particular templates other than a regular ruler. kind of a fun geometry challenge

quilting the layers together is not normally my favourite aspect of making a quilt but I’m using this project to figure out how to do multiple spirals for a kind of rain/ripple effect and I’m actually really loving how it’s turning out

a while back I started tracking unfamiliar words whenever I came across them in my books but unfortunately I have yet to be able to use any of them in my actual life
