Fun fact about Eternal Elemental, It was initially planned to having only a gender option and you were automatically assigned Nuzleaf (for male) and Steenee (for female). Later, I decided to change it to have a more traditional starter selection and quiz like in the original game.

The Eternal Elementals are the pure essence of the Elemental Types that forms the Pokémon world, each corresponding to a type, those artifacts are surprisingly elusive, yet, with the help of a powerful Pokémon, the player character can locate them with quite ease, putting a renown in their name.
