lol No, I'm saying why should people change if we don't give them grace to do so? I'm also saying you're taking people being willing to have a conversation with someone online too seriously. And I'm saying that you should be skeptical when someone does a 180.

I used to agree with that, and I still do to some extent, but he already had the platform. What better way to make good on that change than to use it to help other people see the light?

People change. I’m not a fan of Joe Walsh, but he’s on the right side of this thing these days. You’re right to be skeptical but if we refuse to acknowledge when people change, there is 0 incentive for them to do so.
