Can always tell who never lived on, or even worked on a farm. They never think of the amount of work that is involved in simply getting from one day to the next.

I seem to recall there was once such a thing sold to prevent rape. Skunk oil in a small tube on a necklace if I recall correctly. Wonder if there would be a market for something like skunk oil or Putrescine? Can get the second for about 61.00/gram online, the first for about 5.00/oz. Both are nasty

Pretty sure this was asked the last time, and I recall the answer being the office changed on Jan 20th, with or without the person leaving doing anything. If I'm mistaken I'm sure someone will be quick to correct me. ;)

Since tear gas cannisters seem to be back in fashion, what charges would a hypothetical person see if they picked up the cannister and just happened to point it towards the sender?

If these aren't "city squirrels" then a little used cat litter might make them too paranoid to hang around. Worked in the past for me until I moved into the city, almost have to push those guys off the feeder to refill it..

Wells/cisterns are fun about the first 3 times you use one, then they are just more work, creeks/rivers are worse. Hand pumps aren't as bad till the second time you have to prime it. Appreciate that the water and the heat/lights work without have to do anything beyond flip a switch or turn a valve.

Probably why things that freak out lots of folks don't bother me as much. Got a place to live and something to eat? Not presently bleeding, with no exposed bone? You're good.

Folks seem to thing living "the frontier life" is easy, you never get sick/hurt, you always have time to do whatever you want to do, folks are all willing to do it for you when you can't figure it out, etc. None of that is true. Grew up poor in the woods ftmp and it's -hard- and no time for yourself

Also, if you freeze your credit be sure to check back every few months as some places tend to unfreeze it w/o bothering to let you know how they have "helped" you.
