Leader Jeffries, why didn’t Dems all boycott or walk out of POTUS’ speech tonight? We can’t respond to the historically dangerous actions of this administration with standard Congressional decorum and norms. Fight back harder, please.

I agree to some extent, Micah. But symbolism can be powerful, & if Dems had made a stronger demonstration it would have mattered more. A full walkout or boycott would have been better. Small stunts don’t impact an administration that trashes every standard of decency, morality, & respect.
