i rebuke this mindset. on a macro level, yea shit is horrid. but i choose to protect my peace, prioritize my joy, and show love when and where i can. ima feel much better and have more energy that way than sulking in the negative and letting that run my personal experience
Look I think this is going to be the worst year of most of our lives, which is a high bar considering. But I feel strongly that this would-be regime cannot effectively consolidate power without a lot more both consent and coercion than it currently has, and I'm hopeful for what we can build after.

Interestingly, in Loper Bright vs Raimondo, the conservative majority on SCOTUS ruled just last year that the judiciary can in fact overrule regulatory decisions made by the executive branch especially when those decisions are not specified by Congress.
