Some kind of migrating birds I guess?

I'm not a twitcher but have seen this few times over the years, maybe someone could enlighten me as to what birds they are?

Started of grim but what a finish....

Emley Moor Mast was the 6th tallest freestanding structure in the world when it was completed in the early seventies.

A snowy Emley Moor Mast (just outside Huddersfield), took this today whilst helping get our bread and confectionery deliveries out today. We managed to get 95% delivered, which in the circumstances was fantastic.

Beautiful sunny day in Huddersfield today. The picture is of Compensation Reservoir in Longwood, built circa 1830 along with two other reservoirs higher up on the hill, the middle one is covered the top one not really visible in this photo.
