2/2: If we resist culture wars in general statements without acknowledging the individuals stoking it, it upsets them more. They want the attention from their base for stoking it.

I'd say that when stoking culture wars, GOP doesn't care about facts or even consistency, just about engagement. It's just like here, block and move on. Media should be reporting her antics with the driest tone and matter of factly without opinion. (1/2)
