While listening to modal jazz, I started thinking about how writers shift tone — not just through content, but through mode. Dialogue, thought, exposition… each has a mood, like Dorian or Lydian. I wrote about it.

This casino emanates the scent of green tea, apparently called ‘Royal’, as part of its luxury branding strategy. It is supposed to assist in helping guests to stay longer. You only have to walk past the venue to get a good whiff!
