Actor/entertainer. Kind and empathetic, but will fight tooth and nail for the people I love.
Book 20 of 2025.

It took a while to get into because of all the setup. I will say the world building is really strong but I read it too casually to fully appreciate it. Definitely an interesting story though!

Book 19 of 2025

Took me a while cause I was reading two at once while life got busy. This was... all right. There didn't really seem to be a satisfying conclusion for me but I can see the appeal.

Book 18 of 2025. Went back to non fiction with this trivia book about the early days of Hollywood.

Book 17 of 2025. This one has lots of fun anecdotes, some I just knew randomly. But hearing it from someone that was in the thick of it is always fascinating to me. These are the sort of biographical books I am drawn to because you get a lot of the writer's personality.

Books 12-16

Read this series as a bit of a break and is still fun enough. I do like the characters and a lot of the modernization of Greek mythology. Wish the characters would grow just a little bit more from book to book.

Book 11 of 2025

Though this had many interesting factoids on what led to a lot of assumptions and inaccurate pre-conceptions of how society evolved, the conclusion seemed to be... Nothing. Which was disappointing, but if you enjoy tongue and cheek type text books, this is it.

Book 10 of 2025. Eerily similar parallels to what's been happening the last 4 months. Thank God for the few people like O. Rogge, who stood in the way, when if all they did was slow the slide by 80 years.

Book 9 of 2025. This was a surprisingly good read. Liked how it was basically an Agatha Christie like mystery with a fantasy background sprinkled with Sci-Fi elements. Definitely recommend it.

Book 8 of 2025. Such a satisfying (albeit rushed) conclusion that seems like an actual ending. Reading some of their other stuff, I'd say that's one of their strengths, actually.

Book 7 of 2025. Forgot to post here. This series has re-cemented itself for me as a favorite.

Book 6 of 2025. Loved getting to revisit Arianus and all the wonderful world building and characters being expanded on. Chelestra may have been the chosen works for the Sartans, but Arianus was definitely the favorite for the authors.

Book 5 of 2025. Really enjoying having time to read again. It's helping spur my own creativity too!

Book 4 of 2025. So happy to be reading this series again. Maybe this year will be all re-reads.

I get that it just happened, but can Trump's political opponents do anything other than bitch about Trump? You've been doing it for 10 years and it's not helped at all. Has real WWII England and France writing angry letters to Hitler vibes.

Don't tell Trump. He'll just call it fake news.
An estimated 24.6 million viewers watched Trump's inauguration yesterday, Nielsen announced.

That compares with the nearly 31 million who watched his first inauguration, in 2017, and the 33.8 million viewers for Biden's 2021 inauguration.

How long do you think it'll be before the man child begins the Hunger Games? He'll probably try to take credit for the idea too. 🙄

Although what Trump did yesterday may surprise consumers of mainstream news, nothing he did surprised me because I listened to what he said during the campaign, much of which never made its way into mainstream news.
