I didn't love the laundress detergent but the spray is nice to refresh my non dirty knits like a shawl or hat between washes. I hope you find something you like.

I'm also stain and accident prone lol

The laundress also has a wool garment "refresh" spray that I liked okay.

I *like* wool garrnents lol
I spill beverages, wear heavy lotion and knit slowly. I've got a little cabinet of wool laundry stuff.

Kookaburra might be worth looking at too. It's my absolute fav wool wash but I do rinse a bit with that one. It can be no rinse but I think it needs a rinse.
I don't do it in the machine I still do it by hand just with an additional rinse basin. But I think it's best for my "dirtier" knits.

Eucalan or Soak are very nice ones I buy and use myself.

These are great!

If you eventually do find one please let me know!

It's not great like the craftiverse or cats option here. Unfortunately I think reddit still has the market cornered on houseplant content I enjoy.

While I'm happy for everyone who loves flowerbeds and veggies that's just not my main thing. I don't want to weed things outside. I just want to admire finicky houseplants and talk about potting soil mixes lol

Very cool find and at a great price! In my area I'd pay around that for a cutting of this type of lipstick plant!

Aw thanks. It was worth it bc it's for a friend, but that metallic thread is back into storage until at least 2024 lol

It's awful lol
I'm sure in 6 or so months I'll buy some more and swatch the different brands for another try. Then repeat the process again in 6 more months... I want to love it, but I can't.

I'd never heard of that yarn, it's got good reviews and looks really nice. I'm sure based on the few pics I saw your project is going to be stunning!

No problem. Years ago a very experienced knitter taught me when changing plain make one/decrease one instructions a good easy rule to remember was increases should slant away from the marker and decreases should slant towards the marker. So that's just what I do now and it seems tidy.

On this it's M1L, sm, k, sm, M1R. My increases are slanting towards the marker as I knit.

I'd do the opposite for a top down sweater yoke.

I just checked my WIP pile, I'm sorry I don't have an easy to see sweater example (it's mohair fuzzy) but I do have an example of slanting increases inward.
September 21, 2023 at 6:37 PM
I'd do a M1R on the right side and a M1L on the left side so it slants away from the marker. So as you view the marker it would look like an \(marker)/ shape. Making it look like the yoke of your sweater was growing outward.

I away default to lean away from the marker if I'm changing increases. So if it's one on each side angle then away from the marker vs the plain M1 or KFB on each side.
