Neither R nor D; I think they both equally suck. But this site is 99% an echo chamber, just have an honest conversation until too many cry hard enough to get me booted.
I don't want to seem like a saloker, just reality.

First of all of the general area you live in

I am glad this is an actual honest conversation I can rarely have with a few. Tech works there differently; we are fighting for hydro here hard. But many think a damn multiple miles above where salolmn spawns, a big way to support all AK, is not going to destroy Earth.

Good to hear, my rescue.
November 6, 2025 at 7:06 AM
Yeah, if you drop out AK & HI, but we have always been the bastard child of the US, so I will give you that, except HI is loved more, with warmer weather, but we played a huge part in WW2. We have a Population 12 times that of Australia. Also, I will acknowledge its heat, the Arctic isn't easier.

Some live in Alaska, some don't see the sun for a month. We also have a very rainy August, a 1/3 of our summer. We also have way less than a million people spread across a state bigger than MT, CA, and TX combined, many remote, no single electrical grid here. Just saying, not practical everywhere.

Ok, it seems we agree on EV's not exactly being the answer yet. And I am not against solar, but I live in AK, parts don't see the sun for over a month, solar isn't the world's solution. And solar tech is always improving, don't push it hard, less to throw away as it improves.

I see Australia is the sunniest continent. How many acres of land does it take of panels does it take to supply power? I am all about emission-free crap, but be real, how clean and ethical is it? EV's? Li-Ion battery, where is it mined, by whom, the FULL process? Nuclear, do your own research?

And I am pretty sure she will not miss you and others from the echo chamber.
November 6, 2025 at 5:25 AM
How about you just don't listen to it?
November 6, 2025 at 5:23 AM
I can speak for AK, larger than TX, CA, and MT combined, with a pop. that is 48/50. A lot of that is in the villages, and I would just like to see a more in-depth description, the devil is in the details. While raw data can be accurate, the way it's presented can be manipulated to mislead.

Trump arrested 66,463 illegal aliens and of those were 23,000 violent criminals. Obama deported 2.7 million immigrants setting a record for a president. Under Biden 300,000 children went missing. Many were raped crossing the border. The cartel made billions under Biden. Where’s the outrage there?

Are you trying to tell me the comments about my comment about burning a city down? I wasn't saying all were violent, but some latch onto these events that are not good. But can you admit most on 1/6 were not intersectionalist? And the DOJ went overboard, people in jail who were not at the Capitol?

I didn't say we would agree on much, if anything at all. I just said I was interested in having an honest conversation without people jumping to labeling people Nazi, racist, etc...
November 6, 2025 at 3:59 AM
Ok, I only see one post, saying I am full of shit about having an honest conversation, but not saying why, all I am seeing.

And in a democracy, the majority holds near-total power, risking the suppression of minority rights. A republic, however, is governed by a constitution that protects individual rights and upholds the rule of law over fleeting popular will. Think of two wolves and a sheep voting on lunch.

Democratic socialism seeks to replace capitalism with a socialist system where the means of production are collectively owned. They both want the same thing, one just has more patience than the other. The other is honest about the endgame.

Where am I full of shit? What would you like to talk about bro? Or did you want to do a guerrilla tactic atc? Run out there, attack me, throw out a zinger, and say I am full of shit, then run back and hide?

Ok, so the same city that elected Cuomo has made another smart choice? I live in Alaska, and we handled the pandemic just like the other red states a 100 times better. I don't know what the pandemic has to do with bread lines, it was a reference to Marxism.

I can't wait for the state-run grocery stores; some people don't know history. In 58 days, NYC will finally have a tyrannical regime to fight. I was going back to the 1850s to look at history, but a good reference went back much further back in history.

Let's give it a year, see how much a communist, antisemitic, Islamist gets done, I can't wait to see his state-run grocery stores. But socialism/communism has never been done right, till now, is always their favorite line. You reap what you sow NYC. Google breadlines.

We need more open borders.
