No one could have prepared me as an English and drama student for how much I’d love a well-organized spread sheet. There are skills I still don’t even know how to use, but OMG it’s so satisfying.

I consume a lot of audiobooks, and I think authors and publishers need to have intentional conversations about the listening experience. If your book has unusual text-based formatting, there needs to be a note about what that looks like and directions to some kind of sample.

I’m painfully soft - in good and bad ways. I struggle to be bold, to know the right action to take. I ache when people are hurting or hurting others. It feels these times are exasperating this part of me. I feel a deep urge to turtle in my home and hug my family or cry or both.
