hidden inventory era satoru and suguru outside on a winter's night -- cold, as evident from their foggy breaths and snow built up on the roof of the bus stop theyre waiting in. but there is a sense of warmth too -- from the glow of the bus station lights, from the steam of the half-forgotten drink on the bench behind them, from the laughter between them as satoru tips suguru back under the mistletoe to lick his cheek like the menace he is. tipped backwards, sugurus left leg kicks out as hes thrown off balance, one arm wrapping around satoru to grab his jacket for dear life, the other pulling satorus hat down into his face to escape the shenanigans (and his cold ass hands, one pulling sugurus face close and the other supporting his back.) above them hangs a mistletoe sprig -- the stimulus for this mischief -- as well as ribbon and handmade star decorations for the holidays. behind them is a campus bulletin board, covered with many papers including: a merry christmas banner, a kyoto field trip announcement, a longcat meme picture, a handwritten announcement for a christmas party ("usual spot usual time" "definitely no alcohol :)" it reads), a notice for making sure cursed tools are being properly checked out when borrowed, a courtyard training schedule, a library poster about studying together, a post it from satoru that reads "satoru was here!", a post it from yaga that reads "stop.", a lost student id, a part time job listing for a cursed tool warehouse cataloguer, a note from haibara about a lost ipod, and a hand drawn picture of a small cat-like curse on notebook paper saying "have you seen this curse?" "now you have :)" next to them, a vending machine hums, a note on its side reading "students, please stop practicing your cursed techniques on the vending machines. this is why we have a courtyard. thank you. -yaga". a second note underneath elaborates "satoru i know its you. stop. -yaga" post-canon au satoru and suguru, in a situation where both make it out alive/revived, kenjaku is subdued, etc. they stand on a snowy sidewalk in front of a restaurant, backlight by the warm glow from inside and a string of lights runing the length of the outside. from this string hangs a mistletoe sprig. they stand incredible close, leaning even closer as wind whips sugurus scarf back and satorus coat forward. both sugurus head scar from kenjaku and satorus neck scar from toji are visible. suguru says something as he pulls satorus glasses from his face, breath fogging in the cold air. satoru smiles in return, tucking sugurus freely blowing hair behind his ear. as he does so, the light glints off a wedding band.

Hisoka says he isn't opposed and if Illumi wants to adopt, there is a lot of orphans because of them after all, Illumi says he wants it to be his and Hisoka asks if he consideres a surogate, then jokes about the pregancy card from greed island. Despite it being a joke Illumi immediately jumps on the idea agreeing to get pregnant and asking Hisoka for the name of the game and then calls Milluki to get it. Hisoka looks overwhelmed.
