For what it's worth, it has taken years, constant stop and go in that part of our relationship for a good bit of time and then....I gave up. I quit fighting for what I needed. Ironically, that's when he realized he missed it as much as I did. It was horribly, painfully emotional.

I'm glad you had that experience with someone! Consistency is a struggle over here. I've never been w/another spanko & I crave discipline as well. My husband has been trying to become better & I've *noticed* a difference. It isn't just me asking anymore, which mentally/emotionally is so important.

If I can't say it to my husband directly, then it shouldn't be said. I agree that people who speak negatively about friends/family make me very uncomfortable. I never understood purposefully not communicating & disrespecting someone online you say you love.
