day 2 of telling Phoebe about jellyfin :3

i recommend looking into hosting a jellyfin server. my friend invited me to hers and ive loved the experience so far. the only caveat is you have to *find* the content to host yourself ;)

i agree. even if it's a super old computer that couldn't handle win10, you can still probably host a small backend for your indie website on it.

valorant doesn't use EAC, it uses vanguard
October 15, 2025 at 7:33 PM
would valorant work with a vm?

(asking for a valorant player friend who wants to move to linux but it's the only obstacle ;P)
October 15, 2025 at 7:27 PM
unfortunately, many modern multiplayer games use invasive anti-cheats that don't work under linux :/
October 15, 2025 at 7:21 PM

Didn't get an answer but found a solution. You can use the Neocities CLI (command line interface), it requires Ruby to be installed and most of the info can be found here:
neocities.org/cli
Then when it's all installed, write "neocities push --prune ." in the VS Code terminal

Feds plug phones in so they stay in the AFU (After First Unlock) state in which those phones are way more vulnerable to hacking in. The update makes changes to prevent that :)

The feature isn't meant to affect day to day use, that's why it kicks in after 3 days of inactivity. This based feature helps you if your phone has been stolen or confiscated by authorities.
