As far as android devices go, I don't think there is a way to recalibrate it, at least I've never found a way to do so.

Even though it wasn't intend, I loved the feeling the slow down gave to the personality of the game. Anton went so hard the game could barely keep up with him. Still, I'm looking forward to seeing the game run with the patch.
