So at 5am, I really sat with that, and while painful, I wrote this song in like 20 minutes and I recorded it on my phone and released it in 2024 under an old artist name, but rerecorded and released it this year on my best friend's birthday :)

Last spring I was having some writers block but heard this quote (paraphrased): “Any good writer can mimic the voice of other, but it takes a great writer to embrace themselves. To do the equivalent of walking in the streets with no clothes on.”
