Every year, my husband and I have mock arguments over which Star Trek captains go on the Yule tree. It comes down to Janeway, Kirk and Sisko. I'm a Voyager fan and he's a DS9 fan, so Kirk often sits out. Also? I'm Jewish 😂

Agreed, I don't fault agents at all for trusting publishers to uphold contractual terms without needing to check each title. I'm glad your agent is handling it now that they know! And it definately raises a point about future contractual terms.

Yes, although I'd imagine most authors with trad are agented, and I would think it's an agent's responsibility to hold the publishers accountable for a pretty big breach of contract. Either way, I was stunned to find this out.
