In WWII, info was on physical flyers, but cameras weren’t everywhere. Email distribution means a subscription is required. Social media means it can be tracked back to the poster. Communication methods vary by goal, think through who needs the info that you are on expert on and how to reach them.

Also, if you garden or have the ability to garden, consider putting a few extra plants in that you can donate the produce from.

If you are able to, please consider making regular donations to your local food banks or to other life sustaining organizations. Help ensure they have a cushion in case this administration decides to try pulling federal grants again.

Now imagine that Feeding America loses their federal funds, the center loses their federal funds, and suddenly all of the nations food banks are surviving off only private donations. This at a time when the cost of food is sky rocketing.

In most places, food banks get at least a portion of their food from a larger center. Those centers receive donations but they are also supported by federal grants and by Feeding America. Feeding America receives private donations but a large amount of their funding is federal grants as well.
