That is what resistance looks like. He literally stopped the flow of lies. If each democrat had followed in his footsteps for each lie that came out, one at a time, it would have really been a literal showstopper. What Al Green did is what democrats have to do every day.

After the 1994 Northridge earthquake, old buildings had to be retrofitted and new buildings had to be built with updated construction requirements. Let’s learn from these fires. New building requirements and fire repelling landscaping must be put in place.

California’s 1978 prop 13, cut property taxes which decimated the budgets of the fire departments, the police departments, schools, libraries, etc. It is a third rail in elections. Even for corporations to increase their property taxes. A republican tax cut that has dogged California.

Rick Caruso called in at least 2 local tv stations last night to blame Karen Bass for fire hydrants running out of water. He should read the LA Times article today on why that happened — how helicopters that would otherwise drop water on the flames were grounded due to an epic wind event.
