If it could only be resolved with mere words. I'm accustomed to fighting by vote, but it's clear that this administration is intent on disintegrating our institutions, and possibly our constitution, well ahead of the midterms. Will more calls make a difference? If not, what do we fight with?

Secret clearances usually take months. 10 years of personal history to confirm one has been where one says they've been. And they are VERY clear that if one can be blackmailed for something illegal or embarrassing, or had unreported foreign contacts, one can lose the clearance, be fined or jailed.
