Huge thanks to everyone who helped make this year's summer school so much fun -- your hard work and thoughtfulness meant we could learn huge amounts of Greek, and do much more besides. The 2025 summer school will run from Sun 27 Jul to Sat 9 Aug. Applications open in mid-January!

On Wednesday, we heard from Christopher Burden-Strevens about Greek historian's representations of Augustus. Plus Philomena Probert and Eleanor Dickey led our annual walk to the Iron Age fort at Hod Hill, and our students and tutors got creative in the props room for Sunday's performance of Wasps

As well as the Greek, the summer school offers a host of other activities and opportunities. One highlight is the rehearsed read-through of a Greek tragedy on the final Friday of the course, bringing the learning to life by hearing Greek poetry in performance! www.greeksummerschool.org
