Time available to study plays a role here students with limited time may chose to go with more structured study.

It is on my wish list to create a resource to disseminate students research that I am sure will be helpful for incoming project students.

Completely agree with this, but often for today’s time poor students the dissemination step is skipped especially if it is not credit bearing.

And it looks different depending on the programme so generic explanations don’t always cut it.

A5 being online adds another layer. I have found it useful to use past students to speak to current students and speak of their experiences and the academic services that they have used. #THEchat

A2 #LTHEchat We have an assignment where the assessed part “discussion to camera” with a draft unmarked research proposal that is submitted for feedback. This allows students to submit their first piece of written work in a risk free environment they can reflect improve for their final assignment.

Q1 research skills are fully embedded and part of the module and assignments. Others are not fully embedded. They are introduced to students who can attend workshops, access prerecorded sessions and book 121’s #LHEchat
