I feel completely loopy but I somehow managed to get a script, slides, and a freaking Gantt chart done, then presented it on video... with a MacBook whose camera kicked the bucket a few months ago. I used my phone and a zoom meeting.

It's not great but at least it's done.

I've been in the thick of other day care related illness which afaik hasn't included COVID so far. Anyway we had our appointment with Santa at the big department store yesterday afternoon, and obviously had to miss it. That's the worst of it. We're on the mend.

Yesterday started with my 3 year old running a 40°C fever not responding to medicine, coughing, aching, miserable, and on the drive to the urgent care clinic, developed a rash covering her face, arms and torso 🥺 When they swabbed her throat and nose, I didn't even think of COVID. Somehow.
