Molano was pulling alone a long time. My guess is Bjerg was up after him.
I really hope this 3-man team can bring it home now. UAE crazy unlucky in this race.

I think Stevenson from Oz national team too.
Comms in my feed says they are in a nature reserve, so the roo will be taken care of somehow.
Looked bad though for both the roo and some of the riders, at least Bjerg and Dainese won't be euthanized.

I don't think Bjerg is coming back. Astana guy is Kajamini, he's back and looks OK.

Bjerg was the other UAE. The poor kangaroo looked injured too 😢

Why Brighton?
Nothing wrong with it, but pretty unusual for a foreign fan I'd say? Most non-English are fans of the major clubs (me included, Arsenal supporter since childhood).

??? A US:ian following Premier League?
January 24, 2026 at 8:12 PM
Terrible. According to PCS, it was Stake Laengen in UAE and he has abandoned as have DVP and Stewart 🙁

Considering the severe injuries Vine has recovered from, I'm happy it wasn't him.
January 24, 2026 at 1:02 AM
The English comms in the European feed don't know who it is but it's not Vine.
January 24, 2026 at 12:55 AM
I'm behind you, they just brought out the stretcher in my feed 🙁
January 24, 2026 at 12:01 AM
Oh no! I hope he's ok!
January 23, 2026 at 11:57 PM
Such a shame there will be no Willunga Hill stage but a flat sprint instead. Nice for the sprinters to get another chance though!

I love emus! Never seen one swim though 😆

In all fairness, Cox was better this morning and didn't dwell too much on Brennan. Probably because Brennan, as expected by me but not by Cox, was invisible on the 2xCorkscrew. Brennan is a huge talent and who knows what his limits are, but it's ridiculous to believe the lad can do GC presently.

Cox was with Smithy the first day, today with Jon Mould. I used to enjoy Cox, but lately he's become extremely UK-centric and so fixated on Matthew Brennan he forgets to comment on the actual race.
January 22, 2026 at 1:37 AM
So envious you have Robbie as commentator!
It's 2.12 am here so I doubt I'll make it even over the first Corkscrew. Luckily I only have late work meetings tomorrow.
January 22, 2026 at 1:15 AM
That's surprising! Where did you hear that?
January 19, 2026 at 9:31 PM
I miss them, guess we won't see them battle each other and chitchat about their performances until MSR.

😊😍

It's over 3 months to RVV so I'm not worried. I don't think it will affect his preparations. What concerns me though is if there's a pattern of JV/VLAB riders suffering more fractures than others. I'm worried they may train too hard, diet too hard, have lower bone density etc 🙁

Poor Wout! How unlucky! Visma needs to have a chat with their tyre sponsor!
December 29, 2025 at 3:03 PM
Good he didn't win, if so he wouldn't have been underestimated by Jumbo-Visma in TdF 2020.

Denmark *is* flat and uninteresting. Sweden is full of taiga pine forest and uninteresting. Some minor mountains, old and therefore low and rounded more like hills, in the north.
Norway is the only scenic Scandinavian country.
Scenery apart, Denmark is a better society than Sweden imo.

Wout said in Belgian media that for now he's not riding the CX WC but he will decide finally later in the season.
December 22, 2025 at 4:38 PM
Wout looked happy after he finished 😊 I love Mathieu but I want to see a strong and happy Wout too.
