And today, on CNN's front page, there is NOTHING about yesterday's protests.

It's like they are pretending they never happened.

I used to begin my day perusing the news while sipping my coffee.
Now I need two cups of coffee before I can even face it.
How I long for 'precedented' times.

What scares me most is that they could gerrymander and change the rules so much that they make it impossible to vote them out in the midterms.

Such an unusual Christmas - in a different country, no tree, no cooking, no presents.

I made a mistake yesterday. Over on FB, someone posted a pic of a woman with obviously botched plastic surgery, asking for reactions.

I said, Her body, her choice.

While some cheered, but MOST snarled nastiness or, in one heavily liked comment, called me 'a silly woman'.

Ugh. Lesson learned.

I've woken up feeling very different.In my journal, my Future Self came out swinging.

I wrote: I WILL NOT BE COWED by circumstances.

I refuse to allow them to dim my ambition. In fact, it has amplified it.
